Social media has changed activism throughout the years because everything that happens is now public. People have ways of spreading news around the world in a matter of seconds to get their voice and opinion out in the open. Some pre social media activism is rallies and peaceful protests. Some post social media activism is posting activism to a social media story or posting about it online where anyone and everyone can see. Gladwell is ok with these changes because it is an easier way to become a supporter and an activist these days and it easier to spread the word. I do agree with this all it is good for the world that all this change is happening and can help out many different types of communities.
