According to Appiah things thing that motivate people to change their minds is the constant changes in the world. As a society we all agree that it can be pretty hard to change a persons mind and with that comes the stubbornness of people. However, when movements and other world catching ideas come up it can change a persons mind. As I stated before some of the factors are world movements and also this whole cosmopolitanism gives people the chance to agree to disagree and then everyone accepts everyone with out arguing. This has todo with the theory of cosmopolitanism because people can agree just to disagree and people can accept people without having to agree with the actual option. People are just accepted for being a living being rather than someone with the opposite opinion as another person.
