1. rape culture is a culture where people in a way do not take any sort of traumatic experience seriously including rape. It is also when people just do not care and/or try to almsot normalize it and make it seem not as bad as it is. An example of this will could be, victim blaming.
2. The predator/prey mentality that was talked about in the essay would be something like men are predators and women are the prey. Men are a potential agressors and direction of pursuir, and also other way around. Also one big talking point is double standards on both sides.
