I think that the true reason benenth the problem is a few reasons. One is just the addictive nature the phone is and it is so socially acceptable that people do not even see it as a problem. Also thew other problem are the influencers in the world. Everyone wants to be like them and these said influencers have so much inique power to the point where they can tell a whole generation what to say think and act. In my opinion social media influencers are more powerful than some politics. To be honest I do not see this being solved at all unfortunately.
On a scale of 1-10 I feel like I am at a 3 or 4 because it is so socially acceptable to the point where we I do not even fear it. I would say that I was aware of about 3 quarters of this material. I view this as a decently big problem however us as a society do not fear it because it is so normalized to the point where nothing will ever be done.
