I do believe that we are in a “flight from conversation” kids are growing up with too much technology around them and they are not adapting and learning the same social skills as I did when I was a kid. I think we need to find a way for find the correct balance in school and in life growing up. Kids in middle school should not have a need to be on there phones at lunch, as one example was given in the text. I very much agree with all of this because it has gotten in the way of some of the simplest things in life which would be, making conversation. Along with that forming a connection is now harder for younger kids and its all because of the screens in which kids use and are on way too much.
